How to recognise the work

Colour and geometry made to appear in motion

Black-and-white contrast, saturated gradients, sharp geometry and moiré-like interference create surfaces that seem to shift as the viewer moves.

  • Colour gradients
  • Black-and-white contrast
  • Geometric forms
  • Optical vibration

Still surfaces that behave like motion

Felipe Pantone uses gradients, repeated lines, geometry and interference patterns to create visual vibration. The work changes with the viewer’s position rather than delivering one stable image.

Between analogue paint and digital information

Pixels, glitches and screen-like colour meet paint, sculpture and architectural space. Modelling software can inform a project, but the final work remains physical and responsive to the viewer.

Graffiti roots, a Valencia studio practice

Born in Buenos Aires, Pantone began painting graffiti at twelve and later studied Fine Art in Valencia. Institutional and artist biographies identify Valencia as the place where he lives and works; the relationship is one of training, residence and continuing practice, not birthplace.
